Interior
architecture,
documented.
A twelve-person studio in Mumbai. We take on around fourteen projects a year — small enough that the person who draws your plan is the person who walks your site.
Homes that work on a Tuesday morning, not just in the photographs.

Budget estimate
What would it cost?
Set the carpet area and the finish level. The figure below is the range we would open a conversation at — an estimate, not a quotation, and not binding on either party.
Indicative range, excluding GST
—–—
| Line | Share | Indicative |
|---|---|---|
| Joinery & carpentry | 42% | — |
| Civil & finishes | 20% | — |
| Electrical & lighting | 15% | — |

| Design fee | 8% | — |
An estimate, not a quotation. The real figure moves with the state of the flat, the extent of civil work, and what you already own.

Nothing starts until
the number is agreed.
Five stages, in this order, every time. You always know which one you are in and what has to be true before the next opens.
- 01
First conversation
A week, usually
We come to the flat, measure nothing, and mostly listen. By the end of it we can tell you a realistic number and whether we are the right studio for the job. No charge, no drawings.
- 02
Survey and layouts
2 to 3 weeks
A proper measured survey, then two or three layout options. One gets taken forward. This is the only stage where changing your mind is free, so we push you to use it.
- 03
Drawings and specification
3 to 5 weeks
Elevations, sections, electrical, lighting, and a written specification naming every material by brand and code. If it is not on this set, it is not in the price.
- 04
On site
10 to 18 weeks
Our team, our supervision, weekly photographs whether you ask for them or not. One designer stays with the project from here to the end.
- 05
Snagging and handover
2 weeks
We write the snag list ourselves before you see it, close it, and only then invoice the final stage. It is deliberately large enough to be worth coming back for.
- 01Fixed fee, agreed before drawings start
- 02One designer stays with you to handover
- 03Weekly site photos, whether you ask or not
- 04Snag list closed before final payment
References
Six months later.
Sample copy — not real reviews. These are written examples under invented names; no client is being quoted. The studio's own testimonials replace them before launch.
- 01
They told us on the first call which two things would cost more than we expected. Both did. Nothing else did.
- 02
I cook twice a day. Six months in, I have not once had to move something to reach something else.
- 03
They phased it across four weekends so we never lost a working day. That mattered more to us than the design did.
- 04
My grandmother's dining table is still the first thing you see. Everything else was built to leave it alone.

A first conversation costs nothing and usually ends with a realistic number. If we are not right for the job we will say so and point you somewhere better.
